About Esmé Holmes

With over 25 years of experience Esmé brings an eclectic wealth of knowledge into the world of Cultural Inclusion, Cross Cultural Conversations, Diversity, Oragnisational & Personal Change. To build a house without a foundation gives us a disconnected and insecure structure to protect and support our social, emotional and psychological health. A good strong house needs a strong foundation. The psyche, social and emotional health of a nation is dependant on the cultural inclusion as the cultural foundation of that nation.

Esmé’s drive for Cultural Inclusion is informed by her Danish and Māori cultural lineage Ngati Kahungnu, Ngati Porou and Ngai Tahu. For those corporate and government organisations yet to embrace the rich cultural heritage of Australia. “I can help you prepare the ground and open the door to developing the foundational pathways towards building Cultural Sensitivity and Respect – working learning and sharing together.”

Her background is in psychology, mental health and holistic models of connection, sustainability, systems theory and process, constructive communication, cross cultural change, laying foundations cultural competency in working with First Nations Peoples, inclusion and diversity, executive and organizational cultural change.

Esmé is widely acknowledged for her ability to open a space for conversations based on a common value of respect of differences and similarities in complex and difficult environments. She consults with workplaces to provide workplace coaching for cultural inclusion & diversity.
